We are seeking a motivated Aviation Refueler for our client. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently refueling aircrafts by adhering to strict safety protocols and maintaining fuel quality. The primary duties include filling and loading Jet A1 and AVGAS 100LL drums, inspecting fueling equipment, monitoring fuel quality, conducting regular tests to ensure compliance with industry standards, maintaining accurate records, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safety-focused culture in airside and depot operations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Precisely and efficiently perform aircraft fueling operations, strictly adhering to safety protocols and accurately dispensing fuel.
  • Fill Jet A1 drums and load packed Jet A1 and AVGAS 100LL drums while maintaining proper handling and storage procedures.
  • Regularly inspect and monitor fueling equipment for mechanical issues, prioritizing reliability and safety.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards in depot and into-plane activities through thorough inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Foster a culture of safety during airside and depot operations, promptly identifying and addressing potential hazards.
  • Conduct daily checks and collaborate with the Aviation Mechanic to maintain fueling vehicles.
  • Monitor service refueling systems and jet fuel quality, implementing proactive measures to prevent contamination.
  • Maintain accurate records for quality control, safety, and sales to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Conduct regular tests to ensure fuel meets industry standards and regulations.
  • Be prepared to respond to emergencies such as fuel spills, following established protocols to minimize risks.
  • Assist in maintaining and repairing fueling equipment and systems to meet safety standards.
  • Monitor fuel levels and manage inventory to ensure an adequate supply for aircraft operations.
  • Adhere to environmental regulations, implementing measures to minimize pollution and environmental impact.
  • Maintain records of fueling activities and prepare reports for regulatory compliance and analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to established fueling procedures and safety protocols.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and regulations.
  • Provide excellent service to pilots and aviation personnel during fueling operations.
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.

Academic and Professional Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Engineering or related field
  • Classes B and C1 Driving permit
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Willingness to take responsibilities
  • Capability and willingness to take responsibility
