Paralegal
Responsibilities
1. Draft, review, and edit contracts, corporate resolutions, legal correspondence, and other legal documents.
2. Assist in ensuring the company’s operations comply with internal policies and external regulations, including maintaining compliance calendars and tracking deadlines.
3. Preparing briefs, wills, contracts, real estate closing statements, pleadings, appeals, and other legal documents.
4. Support the maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and other governance documents.
5. Assist with due diligence activities related to mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
6. Prepare and file regulatory documents with appropriate government agencies.
7. Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and organizing legal files.
Qualifications
1. 5-10 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably with experience in a corporate or in-house legal environment.
2. Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field. Law certifications is an advantage.
3. Strong oral and written communication skills.
4. Excellent organizational skills.
5. Must be able to effectively multi-task, manage time-sensitive documents and have exceptional organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
