Responsibilities

Sales Representatives:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers.
  • Regularly visit existing customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and to introduce new products.
  • Identify and target new customers to expand the company’s market reach.
  • Actively promote our products, highlighting their quality and freshness.


Market Expansion & Strategy:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential sales opportunities and to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute sales strategies and promotions.
  • Provide feedback to management on customer preferences and product performance to help refine offerings.


Sales Targets & Reporting:

  • Meet sales targets on a regular basis.
  • Report regular sales detailing performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
  • Monitor and report on customer payment behavior, ensuring timely collection of receivables


Requirements:

Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University
  • The minimum level of experience required is 0-1 year of work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Sales Representative.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and growing market share.


Skills:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients.
  • A results-driven approach with a strong motivation to meet and exceed targets.


Knowledge:

  • Good understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Knowledge of the local market and consumer preferences in the retail market
  • Good communication skills and can ably communicate in native local languages(Luganda)


Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.


Note: The role is more of commission based
