Job Purpose:

The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures and infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new projects.
  • Prepare detailed designs, specifications, and cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Oversee construction processes and ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for management.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and interns.


Candidate Specifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.


Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2-5years of experience in civil engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in project management and site supervision is a plus.


Critical Skills Required:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
