About Us:

AMBA Finance is a tier IV registered microfinance company providing short and medium-term financing to individuals and SMEs. Since our inception in 2020, we've been supervised by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority(UMRA). The company focuses on financial inclusion through the provision of loan products tailored for the MSME community, including business loans, agri-business loans, logbook financing, school fees loans, and many more. We focus on delivering innovative loan products tailored to meet the diverse needs of our customers.


Job Summary:

We seek a motivated and dynamic Direct Sales Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for cross-selling our loan products and opening new accounts in the field. The role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to build strong relationships with potential clients.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Cross-Selling: Actively promote and sell Amba Finance’s loan products to new and existing customers.
  • Account Opening: Identify potential clients and facilitate the opening of new accounts.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and gather customer feedback.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on performance metrics to management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop strategies for reaching target customers.
  • Field Visits: Conduct regular field visits to meet potential clients and conduct presentations.


Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or a customer-facing role, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Staying in or around Bombo Road, Gayaza Road, or willingness to travel or stay in the assigned region.
  • Interpersonal Skills, Communication, and Customer Service skills
  • Experience in Training and Sales
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Previous experience in financial services or microfinance is a plus
  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
