Job Overview
The Head of Sales and Marketing is responsible for leading the sales and marketing departments to drive revenue growth, enhance brand presence, and achieve business objectives within the real estate sector. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and execution of sales and marketing initiatives to optimize property sales, leasing, and overall market positioning.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Set annual sales targets and marketing goals, and develop plans to achieve them.
- Coordinate the property management to have a profitable portfolio.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Allocate resources effectively and ensure team members are equipped to meet their goals.
Sales Strategy and Management:
- Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies for residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties.
- Manage key client relationships and negotiate high-value deals.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze metrics, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Follow up on prospects, develop offers and schedule one-on-one meetings with customers to present the appropriate solutions specific to their needs.
- Drive to site visits and assist in shortlisting the appropriate options
- Follow-up of potential prospects and ensure closures of offers made.
- Solving all post-sales queries or concerns of customers
- Maintain Documents of the complete lead journey on CRM for records
- Identify prospective customers by researching and analyzing sales options.
- Send reports on a daily/weekly as per the management requirements.
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective clients and recommending solutions.
Marketing Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and event-based strategies on the available residential and commercial properties
- Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, websites, and social media content.
- Coordinate with advertising agencies, media outlets, and other partners to enhance brand visibility.
- Create a marketing network to meet customers
Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market demand, and emerging trends.
- Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.
- Provide regular reports and presentations to senior management on sales and marketing performance.
Brand Management:
- Develop and maintain a strong brand presence in the market.
- Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing channels and sales efforts.
- Address any brand-related issues or customer concerns promptly and effectively.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Oversee customer feedback mechanisms and address issues to improve the customer experience.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers.
- Assist clients in accessing post-sales services and coordinate with various departments in the company to avail the services to clients.
- Stay in constant touch with clients by providing information, guidance and recommending new opportunities along with benefits and service improvements
- Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospective clients and recommending solutions.
- Oversee the timely invoicing of customers for services and rental fees.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor expenditures and ensure that activities are cost-effective and within budget.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts related to sales and marketing activities.
- Ensure all rent dues are collected in time.
Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and integrate them into the company’s operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree or a certification in Real Estate Management.
- Experience: At least 3 year proven experience in sales and marketing leadership roles within the real estate industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets and managing teams.
