Travel Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Arrange and coordinate the client's travel itinerary, including transportation, accommodation and activity bookings.
Maintain close contact with tour guides, suppliers and clients to ensure that all travel arrangements proceed as planned.
Handle client inquiries, special requests and emergencies and provide solutions.
Manage travel documents and itinerary details to ensure that the information is accurate.
Assist in marketing activities, recommend and sell company travel products and services.
Collect and analyze customer feedback to assist in improving service quality.
Report work progress regularly and make suggestions for improvement to superiors.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or degree in tourism management, hotel management or related fields.
1-2 years of experience in travel agency or related industry is preferred.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, able to handle multi-tasking and respond to emergencies.
Basic understanding of tourist attractions and culture in Uganda and surrounding areas.
Ability to work independently and have a good team spirit.
Proficiency in English and knowledge of Swahili is preferred.
