- Supervises the kitchen’s operation and hygiene of the place
- Order or requisition food and other supplies needed to ensure efficient operation.
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure conformance to established standards
- Quality and portion control of food.
- Control purchase of dried goods and fresh products.
- Maintain good relationship with all Chinese managers.
- Direct the preparation of food
- Cooking of salads as per request of the managers
- Plan and price menu items
