Maama Heat is a charcoal manufacturing and distribution business. It was founded after Mr. Samuel Kasaato went to an exhibition and fell in love with the charcoal briquetting business. With support from his wife and from the incubator AfriBanana, Maama Heat was born. At the present time, it employs simple, manual technologies to produce high quality, affordable and environmentally friendly charcoal briquettes. Maama Heat targets the up and coming sustainable energy market, which provides renewable and efficient energy to both individual households as well as schools and restaurants.

Maama Heat manufactures and distributes high quality charcoa...
Maama Heat manufactures and distributes high quality charcoal briquettes to individual households, schools and restaurants. The briquettes are cylindrical in shape, at 2" in height and 1.5" diameter, which fits nicely in all sizes of stove. The briquettes can be packed in 1kg, 2kg, 5kg, 10kg and 50kg bags and are available for delivery or pick-up from our factory.

Maama Heat's briquettes have three main advantages. Firstly, the briquettes save money in comparison to ordinary charcoal, meaning money can be put towards other things. Secondly, the briquettes improve your health in comparison to ordinary charcoal as they are smoke and dust free, decreasing the risk of respiratory infection. Thirdly, the briquettes do not rely on deforestation or bush burning, thus helping to protect the environment.

Ooopss, never will i use ordinary charcoal in my home again. thanks to maama heat who has given me all the pleasure to enjoy my kitchen all the time. the briquettes are really good the fact that they are smoke free, heat up for long hours, making steaming of food much easier and remain hot all day... you have made me discover what i was missing. long live maama heat.
