Detailed Safari Itinerary for the Trip

Day 1: Kampala to Kisoro
Setting off from Kampala to Kisoro which is approximately 540 km from Uganda’s Capital city after being briefed about the safari. Overnight at Travellers’rest or Mgahinga Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga
Early morning breakfast and there after the guide will lead you through the gorilla’s world, clearing up sorts of their behaviour plus ecosystem. Gorilla trekking is the most incredible and memorable experience, which might take you via a thick forest for the whole of the day.
The Nyakagezi tourist group consists of 9 members; 2 juveniles, 2 infants, 3 adult females and 2 silver backs, tracking may cover three to eight hours. This activity tires walking therefore one has to go geared up. It is very prudent that you to wear good toehold shoes best for muddy places and binoculars for easy vision. Overnight at Mgahinga Safari Lodge and Travellers’ rest.

Day 3: Departure
Soon after a morning breakfast, return back to Kampala and wait for your departure flights.

Day1: Entebbe/Kampala-Bwindi Gorilla Park
From your hotel of residence, after breakfast our English driver guide will pick you from the airport. You will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in Western Uganda through the Masaka-Mbarara High way. Stop at the Equator for snacks and photographs, en-route lunch at Agip Motel or Regency hotel in Mbarara., you will see the long-horned Ankole cattle, the rolling winding hills and terraced landscapes of the region, beautiful panoramas that are part of the Western region along the way. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma lodge or Buhoma Camp. Meal plan: Half-board.

Day 2: Gorilla tracking
Prepare for a briefing on gorilla trekking from the park officials after an early morning breakfast. Enter into the jungle for gorilla tracking in the mist after the briefing. You will need to carry a packed lunch and drinking water, wear comfortable boots or sturdy shoes, a light rain jacket as Bwindi has un-predictable weather, insect repellent, sun screen to make the activity a stunning experience. Walking sticks will be available from the park rangers, Evening visit to local communities surrounding the park. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-board

Day3: Bwindi National Park-Kampala/Entebbe Airport
After having our early breakfast at the lodge, embark to our safari vehicle and drive back having lunch en-route. Have a brief stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre where all the historical back ground of Ankole is showcased. Afterwards proceed to Kampala-Entebbe where our guide will drop you to the airport to board your flight back home or flight to your next destination. Meal plan: Half-board-End of services.

Detailed Itinerary for the Safari

Day 1: Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park

We shall Set off from Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park after you have been briefed by our Adventure Trails safari guide/driver. It’s a 3-4 hours drive to the park. Along the way you will find Mpambire Drum shop, the Equator plus the Lake Mburo Heritage Village, these places attract tourists. You will see the wildlife which is in the dense thick Vegetation thus a fascinating environment in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Rwonyo camp or Mantana Tented Camp.

Day 2: Game viewing in LMNP
After having, breakfast, you will go for game viewing which is the main tourist activity in this Park, being popular for its wealth in biodiversity, It has an estimate of 68 different categories of mammals like Buffalo, Eland, Roan antelope, leopard, Hyenas and jackals Topi, Impala, Roan antelope, leopard, Zebra and Eland. After the view you will return to the camp for late breakfast and head through the highlands to Kabale, where you will have a lunch stop over whereas proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, the home for themountain gorillas. You will have dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board)

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
You will have morning breakfast and then head for gorilla trekking the major tourist activity in the park with packed lunch along side an experienced guide. This trek may be tiresome but enjoyable. Your encounter with the great primates gives a good description of trekking. You will realize the forest sound as you see various forest Flora and fauna. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma Community Bandas (Full Board).

Day 4: Departure
After having morning breakfast, you will be drived back to Kampala stopping en-route for lunch arriving in the early evening.
