St. Andrew Kisoga Primary School - Mukono

St. Andrews Kisoga Primary School is a Primary School in Uganda.The School is a Government Sponsored School. The School is found in Mukono District and in Ntenjeru Sub-County with a certified staff and a constant pupils' enrolment of over 900 pupils over years. It's had a number of headteachers who may include:
St.Andrew Kisoga Primary school started on the church land in 1985 as a private school with four (4) classes from nursery to primary three.

After having realized the need for education in the area, Mr.Kilule William and Mr. Bemba Sam Fred initiated the idea of opening up the school at the church in 1985 with Mubilizi Mukasa Christopher as the patron.

They were helped by the following committee

4. Mr. Walusimbi Musa.

They sacrificed a lot to see that the school operated. The school started with timber structures as classrooms and the construction of the classroom blocks went on gradually afterwards.

It is said that Mr.Kilule William injected in a lot of money and resources for the construction of the school.

He gave rent to the first teacher- Ms.Mirembe Grace for four years and to Mr. Sserwanja Godfrey (headteacher) for 2 years on a free basis.

St.Andrew became a government aided school in 1995 under the leadership of Mr.Sserwanja Godfrey as the first government head teacher and it attained a full primary section from primary four to primary seven.

The first P.7 Candidates were registered in 1992; with 18 candidates where 1 got a first grade and 3 got second grade.
