Raising Voices - Kampala, Uganda

We run a highly engaging multimedia campaign that is designed to encourage activism by individuals, groups and communities in preventing violence against children (VAC). The multimedia campaign runs annually. The campaign features a mix of traditional and non-traditional media across radio, television, and newspapers and complemented by other media. We implement an integrated multimedia campaign, ensuring we connect with our audiences through multiple touch points. We use radio extensively along with television and the newspapers, communicating mutually reinforcing messages. The aim is to ensure that we reach out to a large base of audience and get people engaged in the dialogue on prevention of VAC.
