Charge Ko Technologies is an energy startup that is making owning and operating electric vehicles and other battery-powered devices more convenient and affordable while transitioning Africa towards clean mobility and universal energy access. With 1.08 billion mobile phone users in Africa and 400 million of them accessing the internet, the Covid19 pandemic has caused a dramatic increase in the reliance on these devices for communication, essential services, and entertainment. Unfortunately, these devices have one major downside: an unreliable battery life that requires them to be charged multiple times a day.
