Biyinzika Poultry International Limited (Biyinzika) has been the leading provider of day-old chickens in Uganda since 1991. With over half of the market share, Biyinzika has become a successful business through the help of Pearl Capital Partners (PCP) and their African Agricultural Capital Ltd (AAC). PCP provided BEL with an initial loan of US$ 800,000 in 2006, and an additional loan of US$ 400,000 in 2009. By 2011, Biyinzika had successfully repaid these loans, allowing them to reach their current level of success.
