EarthWise Ferries Uganda Limited - Kampala

EarthWise Ferries Uganda Limited (EarthWise) is a Ugandan organization dedicated to providing ferry services throughout East Africa. Their mission is to reestablish the dormant commerce that once flourished on the waterways of the region, particularly between the two largest cities: Kampala, Uganda and Mwanza, Tanzania. Although these cities are only 200 miles apart and Mwanza has a rail-head that connects to the Indian Ocean, the lack of ferry service has hindered economic connectivity between the two countries. EarthWise is committed to bridging this gap and plans to expand their services to other parts of East Africa as the opportunities become available.
