NUCAFE - Kampala, Uganda

The National Union of Coffee Agribusinesses and Farm Enterprises (NUCAFE) was established in 1995 as a limited company with share capital. It is a private sector-led, umbrella organization dedicated to empowering coffee farmers in Uganda. With over 175 member farmer organizations, NUCAFE represents over 160,000 farming households in the five coffee-growing regions of the country. NUCAFE is devoted to providing high-quality green and roasted coffees that are responsibly grown and ethically traded. They believe that the future of both Uganda's coffee industry and its farmers are intertwined and strive to ensure that everyone in the coffee community benefits from the industry. This leads to sustainable livelihoods, consumer satisfaction, and societal transformation.
