SJEFATE Nursing Home is a home caring for older people and recovering patients who require nursing care. We provide an excellent level of care in a friendly atmosphere and can offer both long term residential care and short term respite care.
All our residents have their care needs assessed prior to admission in order to develop a regularly reviewed care plan. We treat all of our residents as individuals and cater for their needs accordingly whilst preserving their privacy and dignity.

Located at plot 16A martry's way NTINDA, Nakawa Division , as the mother-house, we also have other houses in different parts of Kampala Uganda, that is to say; Bukoto, Kisaasi, Gayaza among others. SJEFATE Nursing Home(s) is in quiet and relaxing location(s), outside of the town centre close to the capital city. Ntinda is a large retirement town and is ideally suited for OUR PHILOSOPHY OF CARE

We recognise that the necessity of moving into a nursing home and requiring help with personal tasks can feel like a loss of independence. Returning home from hospital, especially after surgery, can sometimes be quite daunting. Our hospital to home service provides our clients with the comfort and knowledge that this transition will be a smooth and safe process.
We can meet with you in hospital to ensure that any equipment you may need at home is obtained and ready for you when you return home. We can also pick you up from hospital and help settle you in, ensuring that any medications and other needs are made available.
We can assist with your shopping and meal preparation – a healthy diet will set you up for a good recovery.
Whether it is for a few hours of support per day, or even the security of having our service 24 hours per day, we will be there for you until you feel comfortable to stay on your own. You can be confident we will be able to get you settled and on the track to recovery.
